CHS is committed to standing by the Denton community and its residents and families as the cleanup and rebuilding efforts begin following the West Wind Fire.  To assist in those efforts, CHS has committed a total of $20,000, broken down as follows:

• $10,000 cash donation
• $5,000 worth of Payback® Ranger-16 cattle feed
• $5,000 in Cenex® fuel gift cards.

Not only is CHS contributing financially and with cattle feed and fuel cards, but local employees are also donating their time and efforts to help the Denton community.

As a cooperative, CHS is focused on strengthening rural communities to drive agriculture forward for the next generations. This includes supporting communities in times of need.

“CHS understands the impact a natural disaster such as the West Wind Fire can have on rural communities,” adds Cortney Wagner, CHS Board of Directors, Region 2.  “This fire will have long-standing implications for the Denton community, and we are dedicated to being there with support in the months ahead as residents and businesses rebuild Denton.”
